1) Pit and Fissure Sealants

2) CARIES IN DECIDUOUS TEETH

If caries is superficial ,remove it and fill it with high strength filling material.

  • Caries in baby teeth must be treated.
  • Tooth decay is an acid attack on tooth enamel that leads to cavities.
  • (GC OR COMPOSITE )filling is advisable.

3) Root Canal Treatment in Deciduous (Milk) Teeth

1. Stainless steel crown on milk teeth after root canal treatment is complete.
2. The developing permanent tooth is growing directly under baby tooth.
3. If caries untreated it spread down to affect developing permanent Tooth.

4) Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontic Treatment (Braces).

(A) Treatment of misaligned and irregular teeth with fix braces (Orthodontic)
(B) Habit Breaking Appliances

Before exfoliation age of any milky tooth ,if we have removed the tooth space maintainers is to be given

Habit in children like thumb sucking,mouth breathing,tongue thrusting and teeth clenching while sleeping

5) Topical Fluoride Application.

It is a preventive treatment for decaying It prevents acidic environment in a mouth which ,reduces bacterial growth Ideal age of application is 3 to 13 years
